PixitOn-Demand Shoots

A photographer, wherever you are.

What it is

Pixit is the fastest way to be photographed: open the map, see the photographers and videographers working around you, and be matched in moments.

How it works

What using Pixit is actually like.

Why it exists
Being photographed properly is normally a project. You ask around, wait on an email, agree a price with someone you have never met, and hope they turn up. Most people give up somewhere in the middle and use their phone instead. Pixit was built to make it a booking — the same weight as ordering a car.
Who it’s for
Anyone who wants real pictures of themselves and doesn't happen to know a photographer: a night worth remembering, a portrait, a wedding, a day of content for a brand. And on the other side, the photographers and videographers who would rather paid work arrived than spend their week chasing it through messages.
What you get
You can be photographed tonight by someone whose work you have already seen and whose identity has been checked — and who isn't paid until you confirm the files have landed. If nothing is delivered, the money is still yours.
  1. Pixit: See who is actually working near you

See who is actually working near you

It opens on the artists live within ten miles of you this second. Ping all of them at once for tonight, or plan something properly for later — and the map underneath is the real one, not decoration.

  2. Pixit: Say what you need shot

    Say what you need shot

Whether that's a photographer, a videographer or both, and then the kind of shoot — headshots, a wedding, a graduation, nightlife, a music video, product for a brand. You describe the job you actually have rather than picking the nearest package.

  3. Pixit: Agree the money before anyone turns up

Agree the money before anyone turns up

Hours on site, the kit you need, a deadline for the files and what you're paying. It shows the whole split — what's held, what Pixit takes, and exactly what your artist receives, which is 80% of the booking and any tip in full.

  4. Pixit: Look at the work before you choose

Look at the work before you choose

Every artist carries a real portfolio, a verified badge earned with a government document and a live selfie, and a record you can read: jobs completed, punctuality, quality. Clients verify the same way, so nobody is meeting a stranger, and report and block sit inside every conversation.

  5. Pixit: Follow it from booked to shot

Follow it from booked to shot

Once someone is confirmed you get a live track — booked, getting ready, on their way, arrived, shooting — and your money sits held to one side until you say the files landed.

The fine print

Short, honest, readable.

Pixit works through a server, which means other people and other companies are involved — so it has more to explain than an app that never leaves your phone. Here it is in plain English, and the documents that actually govern the app are one tap away.
